Tatsumaki—The Tornado of Terror:

Tatsumaki, also known as Tornado of Terror, is the S-class rank 2 hero of the Hero Association, aged 28 years. She is one of the most powerful heroes of the Hero Association, surpassed only by Blast. She is an esper and self-declared teacher of her younger sister, Fabuki. She made her debut in the series in chapter 32.

Backstory:

In childhood, Tatsumaki was kept away from her family in a facility because of her psychic powers. She grew up lonely, away from her family, and learned to rely on herself after meeting Hero Blast, who told her to be strong. This made her overprotective and independent of her sister Fabuki. Despite her rough personality, she decided to join the Hero Association to be a hero for protecting others.

Appearance:

Tatsumaki is very short and often mistaken for being younger than she really is. She has a young face with emerald green eyes and similar emerald green hair with natural curls. She wears a tight black dress with a V-neck, high collar, long sleeves, and four long slits that show her legs. She also wears low-heeled black shoes.

Personality:

Tatsumaki is bold, impatient, and quick-tempered, often looking down on those she sees as weak. She often shows disrespect towards most people. Despite her arrogant personality, she takes her duty very seriously, fights any threat, and even seeks battles when bored. She deeply cares for her younger sister Fabuki but can be overprotective.

She is very confident about her strength and believes that no one can beat her. She prefers working alone due to her tough childhood and Blast’s influence. Her overconfidence sometimes leads her to underestimate the power of others and act without thinking.

Behind her tough personality, Tatsumaki feels very insecure and traumatized from her past. Her harsh behavior is in fact a defense to protect herself from further emotional pain.

Abilities and Powers:

As the second-ranked S-Class hero, Tatsumaki stands out as an extraordinarily powerful entity in the hero community. Renowned as one of the most powerful heroes, she is particularly acknowledged for being the strongest esper to date. Fubuki has labelled her a monster, similar to Sweet Mask, who consciously refrains from advancing in rank to prevent weaker heroes from climbing the ranks. Tatsumaki’s abilities are so formidable that many believe there’s no adversary capable of defeating her through conventional methods. Consequently, the world considers her the ultimate weapon of the Hero Association. Notably, Gyoro Gyoro has stated that she’s among the few heroes who can take down Elder Centipede.
